ARUBY: Redefining the Series Yacht Experience in “New Luxury”
We are opening a new chapter in our shipyard’s history: We are proud to present ARUBY, our very first series yacht. The 70-meter concept (approx. 1,770 GT) bridges the gap between our fully custom masterpieces and highly efficient platforms.
In our now 25-year partnership with the award-winning studio Reymond Langton Design, we have translated decades of client feedback and battle-tested engineering into a revolutionary “ready-to-build” concept.
Strength Meets Craftsmanship
Inspired by its namesake, the ruby, ARUBY stands for immense strength and longevity. Through our world-class craftsmanship, this foundation is refined into a sophisticated maritime masterpiece. Owners enjoy the individual dedication and uncompromising quality our shipyard is known for, combined with a seamless, turnkey path to ownership. A robust construction and our comprehensive after-sales programs also guarantee long-term value retention (lifecycle support).
The Accelerated Path to Ownership
“ARUBY is our answer to the modern owner’s desire for the highest quality without the typical development lead times,” explains Till von Krause, our Sales Director Yacht. Because the proven platform is already pre-engineered, months of planning time are eliminated. Future owners can bypass the complexities of their own new-build team, yet they retain the full interior design freedom for which we are famous worldwide.
“New Luxury”: Space for Privacy and Relaxation
ARUBY establishes a lifestyle consistently focused on autonomy and discretion. Smart self-service options and highly efficient crew routes, kept intentionally in the background, maximize privacy.
· The Owner’s Suite (90 m²): Features two private balconies, a study, and a central bathroom with a freestanding tub and sweeping sea views.
· Guests & Charter: Five staterooms on the lower deck as well as a 24 m² VIP suite on the bridge deck. The versatile layouts are ideal for families, business, or as a high-ROI charter yacht.
· Beach Club & Entertainment: A 2.4 by 5.2-meter pool leads down to the spacious beach club with fold-down platforms, a gym, and a spa. On the bridge deck, a sunken lounge with a firepit invites guests to an open-air cinema experience.

Technically, ARUBY is a powerhouse of quiet efficiency. “Every technical decision in ARUBY follows one principle: performance with purpose,” summarizes our COO, Björn Schlüter.
· Whisper-Quiet Efficiency: A “future-fuel” ready diesel-electric propulsion system with pod drives and five main engines (approx. 650 kW each) guarantees an exceptionally smooth and vibration-free operation.
· Battery Storage & Space Optimization: A 150 kWh battery pack ensures emission-free silence at anchor. Additionally, the single-tier engine room maximizes the volume dedicated to luxurious guest areas.
· Performance: Our efficient, slim hull design allows for a comfortable cruising speed of 12.5 knots and a top speed of 16 knots.
