SWASH Inshore Tender

The simplest ideas are most often the very best. Operating just like a SWATH design in principle, the new type uses a single cigar shaped tube suspended below the centre of the vessel and three meters below the surface. The ‘single hull tube’ houses all the ship’s system technology along with the main engine. To meet class requirements and improve stability, designers have also mounted two vertical outriggers on either side of the superstructure. It is finally technically possible to construct smaller boats (under 25 m) in the proven hull design. The SWASH@A&R concept is furthermore applicable to all ship sizes.
